Over the last 10 years, it seemed like race relations in our country were worse than I had ever seen. I knew that there was only one solution to these problems: America needs more people following Jesus! I really wanted to be part of the solution and God led me to Nathan Street ministries where I volunteered. After the first year, I asked if there was anyone who needed a mentor and Coach Willie immediately knew of a young man. We started hanging out for a few months and we’re now making plans to start reading our bibles, praying daily, and keeping each other accountable. This opportunity has shown me that God is still working, and that the gospel is more than enough to solve this worlds problems!! But one critical thing is needed: more helpers! There are many young men and women, boys and girls, who need someone to show them what godly living looks like.
